Screenshot Saturday: Getting Somewhere!

Hey all! Happy New Year from us at the Bearlad household. Three months later, we’ve got some new things to share about the game! See, if you will, the video below, which was
from a few weeks ago as of this writing.

Solid base, eh? Well, since then, it’s turned into this!

The basics for the games’ current iteration are beginning to come together and, if we’re lucky (this isn’t a promise), you may see something at SAGE this year…

The music used in the first video is Tidal Tempest Zone from Sonic CD, the kind of music you just couldn’t hate being put on hold to.
The music from the second video is Mad Mall from ANTONBLAST. The ANTONBLAST soundtrack isn’t officially available yet, so GO PLAY ANTONBLAST!!!

Here’s a small collection of various screenshots taken during development of this latest artstyle shakeup!

We hope you’re as excited for the game as we’ve been to show off this new progress and, as we’ve officially fully switched from Scratch to Godot Engine, we’re hoping for the game to become more content-rich and fun than ever. Now, we’ve got some sparklers left over from New Years and Paco is just dying to light them behind the Flaxcaster house, so I’m off to make sure it doesn’t result in a wrestling match between him and Kate like last time. Au revoir!

(As usual, be sure to check us out on our medias, Twitter and BlueSky!)
